Natalia Iguiñiz

Visual artist and university professor.
Since her studies of Painting at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú-PUCP (1990-95) and the Master’s Degree in Gender, Sexuality and Public Policy at the UNMSM, her work explores the construction of discourses around the conceptions of the feminine, sexuality, domestic work and motherhood. Her work moves between art exhibition spaces, intervention in public space and feminist activism. Occasionally she works in graphic design, writing and curatorship. She has participated in 12 solo projects and in more than two hundred exhibitions and biennials nationally and internationally. As well as reviews and various publications. Among his most outstanding contributions to the contemporary art world is his participation in the Mercosur Biennial, curated by Andrea Giunta in 2020.
Her work is part of important collections including those of the MOLAA, MALI and El Reina Sofia museums.
She is the mother of Antonia and Vicente.
