Iván Sikic (Lima, 1983) creates works that touch on the realities of being an immigrant, violence against women, the destruction of natural resources for the sake of greed, mass consumerism, and the unjust treatment of the disenfranchised. He has employed durational performance, installation, land art, public interventions, sculpture and photography to respond to these themes.

His work has been shown at The 8th Floor (New York), the Museum of Contemporary Art, Lima (Peru), Smack Mellon (Brooklyn), Km 0.2 (San Juan, Lima and Mexico City), Luis Adelantado (Bogotá, Madrid, and Valencia), UV Estudios (Buenos Aires) amongst others, He has attended residencies in the USA, Europe, Latin America and Australia.
